Isha Upnishad is the part of Shukla Yajurved. The Upanishads represent the highest knowledge in Indian Philosophy. The Ishavasyopnishad is the 40th chapter of Yajurveda. This sacred knowledge tells us that this whole universe is pervaded by absolute consciousness and that consciousness is not different from our real identity which we don’t realize because of ignorance. This ignorance is the root cause of all our pain and miseries. The alarming state of mankind requires immediate shift of awareness from material to spiritual, from ignorance to wisdom. Lets begin our journey towards the ultimate knowledge by studying first of classical Upanishads, the Ishavasyopnishad.
